Ep 18 - Charlie Frye
from Podcast Hell with Erick Hellwig Hosted by Erick Hellwig
Charlie Frye is Ohio born, Ohio raised, and thanks to a lucky season from Derek Anderson, OHIO BETRAYED! On this solo episode of Bring In The Backups, I delve into Charlie's high school career, his domination at the college level with the Akron Zips, getting drafted by the Browns, a couple quick stops with Seahawks, Raiders, Chippewas and Dolphins. My friend Mandy Schmieder (Inside Amy Schumer, Unnatural) drops in for a pre-planned bit. I also do some rambling as it's a solo episode, covering important topics like getting ghosted by a comedy show, Anne Frank, bad Airbnb's, Erie Street Kitchen in Kent, Ohio comedy, the end of quarantine and more. To support the show leave a review and follow the pod wherever you're listening. Visit ErickHellwig.com for my stand up tour dates. To see the video version of Podcast Hell, go to my YouTube page.
