Misinformation is lethal.  As The Warnings Doctor, I’m concerned about the internet running wild with so-called Covid cures like the antiparasitic drug, ivermectin.  Using ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid-19 is up there with swallowing bleach.  It does not work and it can cause serious harm.  The FDA said it received multiple reports of patients hospitalized after taking ivermectin, a drug commonly used in horses, to treat or prevent COVID-19.  “You are not a horse,” the FDA tweeted. “You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”  Consult your healthcare provider and not Facebook or TikTok when determining what’s best for your health and the health of your family.  The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals.  The most effective ways to limit the spread of COVID-19 include getting a COVID-19 vaccine and following current CDC guidance.  Instead of listening to conspiracies online, please follow the data.  (More on this point about misinformation, medicine, and the media in the next episode of EXPOSED!)  Getting vaccinated can help protect you against this deadly virus.  And remember, the more informed you are, the safer you'll be!
