Ep 18: From IVF to Natural Pregnancy

from Period Recovery and Fertility Podcast · host Lindsey Lusson

Whitney lives in Greenville, SC and mother to one and one on the way! Right before starting IVF for a second time she found Lindsey while scrolling Instagram one day. Whitney struggled with an eating disorder and over-exercising in her early 20's, but with the help of her family and professional support, she was able to recover for the most part. However, she never recovered her period. Because of this, she ventured into IVF in hopes of getting pregnant in 2020.  For Whitney, her fertility journey was a long road physically and emotionally- not to mention financially draining and time consuming. She was blessed to get pregnant and have her first son via IVF, but when she decided it was time to try for baby number two, her heart longed to get pregnant naturally. She joined the Food Freedom Fertility Society, and was able to regain her period within a month of working with Lindsey. After getting her period back, Whitney was amazed that she was able to conceive her second child naturally- without any fertility treatments! She is now 30 weeks along and due with another boy in October. Through HA recovery, Whitney expresses she now feels a freedom around food, body image, and exercise that she has never felt before- which is an added bonus to her natural pregnancy!  Connect with Lindsey Lusson:  Instagram: @‌food.freedom.fertility Website: www.foodfreedomandfertility.com/ Twitter: @LindseyLusson Tiktok: @food.freedom.fertility
