What happens when an ex shows up on your big day?    Gladys Ricart was tragically murdered on her wedding day on September 26, 1999, in Ridgefield, New Jersey. As she was handing out flowers to her bridal party before heading to the church, her ex-boyfriend, Agustin Garcia, entered her home. Garcia, who was reportedly enraged by their breakup and her upcoming marriage to another man, shot Gladys three times in front of her family and friends. He was immediately apprehended at the scene and later convicted of first-degree murder. This horrifying act of violence shocked the community and highlighted the dangers of domestic violence, even after a relationship has ended.
