Ep 18: Spiritual Integrity and the Shadow Side of Spiritual Lineages

In this episode we do some shadow integration, and Jenna discusses the shadow side of spiritual lineages. While the path to attaining Spiritual power involves experiences of high positivity, it also involves experiences of high negativity. And when we are willing to integrate the negative along with the positive, we can experience a healthier path to embodying Spiritual power. Many Spiritual lineages have experienced abuses of power and distorted or negative illusions, and we often find ourselves unwilling to face that shadow side of Spirituality on Earth. Jenna shares about her exploration of this, reflecting on her times as a leader at Whole Foods Market, and the ways she has worked to embody a mindset of servant leadership. Spiritual leaders are also human, and subject to the complicated illusions and negativity of this world; no leader is infallible. Facing this fact and integrating an understanding of that will serve us well on our journey of embodying power. And reflecting on ways we hold power and navigate the entanglements, attachments, and negativity of this world is equally important, so that we may uphold the highest levels of Spiritual integrity.
