Ep: 18 Vive Le Rock Productions

from ALLWays Another Way · host Marina Sbrochi

My guest, Simon Cantlon has over 20 years in the entertainment and digital media industry. He bounced between Los Angeles and New York City, working on shows like Dexter, Weeds, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and many more. He was nominated for an EMMY for his work on Dexter. He could have continued to climb the industry ladder, but Simon took a brave leap and jumped off into pursuing his own path and passions. I'll talk to Simon about making that leap from security and seniority to following his dreams from his documentary, The Motels of Route 66 and festivals like Rockabilly on the Route and Rockabillaque. These mid-century celebrations include classic car and vintage bike shows, live music from around the world, contests including the ever-popular Pin-Up Contests and more! It wasn't the easiest -- but it was worth it! Hear what happens, when after being on a path you think you are supposed to be on -- you go ANOTHER WAY! Can you believe that I've known Simon since the 2nd grade at St. Andrews! He was always good looking and sweet and creative!!!
