Ep. 181 Kevin & Drew Talk Movies: The Whale & Lady Bird

It's a real tearjerker episode this week on the movie podcast. Drew's pick is the 2022 drama film The Whale, which won Brendan Fraser the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role earlier this year. It's a movie about addiction, pain, family, religion and perspective that really hits you in the feels or at least it did to us. Kevin's choice is Greta Gerwig's 2017 Dramedy film, Lady Bird. Lady Bird is a coming of age story about a catholic high school girl with an overbearing mother who feels the need to get away from her hometown of Sacramento.
