Ep. 182: Finales, Matchbox & Touching Grass
from The Final Take Hosted by Tim Cox, Nelson Nguyen
Finales, fast cars, and some truly terrible opinions. Welcome back to The Final Take! Nelson and Tim are back to deliver their final takes on the finales of Ted Lasso Season 4 on Apple TV+ and Lanterns on HBO Max. Did these shows stick the landing, or are we about to need a support group for disappointed TV fans? Then it's time for The Matchbox Movie on Apple TV+, starring John Cena, Jessica Biel, and Sam Richardson. Toy cars, action, and Hollywood doing what Hollywood does best: turning just about anything into a movie. And because apparently we spend too much time indoors watching screens, Tim forces everyone to touch grass by reading one-star reviews from Rotten Tomatoes. Nothing says healthy outdoor living like listening to irrational people destroy movies on the internet. Two finales. One movie. A collection of deeply questionable opinions. What could possibly go wrong? Chapters: 0:00 Intro 3:37 One-Star Reviews 13:00 Ted Lasso — Season 4 Finale 24:47 Lanterns — Finale 41:14 The Matchbox Movie
