Ep. 184 - Christ Through Us - 2 Corinthians 5:18-21

In This SermonPastor Titus reflects on the amazing reality that God chooses to work through us. Even though we are sinners who make so many mistakes and poor decisions, God still chooses to use us to share the message of reconciliation with other sinners like us. However, in this amazing choice is great wisdom. God knows that when that message comes from those who live that message through their forgiveness and newness of life, the words leap from our very self and the story we tell to our friends, our neighbors, and our children. By grace and by his power, we are the perfect ambassadors for Christ. Our Sermon Text: 2 Corinthians 5:18-21All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
