Ep. 184 - His Answer On Iodine And DMSO For A Tumor Near The Skin

A listener with a breast tumor sitting just under the skin has already tried ozonated olive oil salve and calendula creams and wants to know what else can go on it. Dr. Lodi's answer, the longest of the show by a wide margin, is Lugol's liquid iodine with DMSO to carry it in.He takes Lugol's apart into potassium iodide and molecular iodine, two iodine atoms bound together, and says the molecular iodine does the work, by the same mechanism that made the iodine a mother once dabbed on a cut worth using. He argues it also shifts estrogen toward metabolites that do not stimulate growth. He says the DMSO goes on clean skin to carry the iodine in, and he warns it can irritate the skin enough that daily use may not be possible. He is plain about the limit: it only applies where a growth is near the surface and "it's reachable", not in the spleen or pancreas. He raises radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy and histotripsy, then says none of it is the answer on its own, because if the toxins and the immune imbalance are left alone the growth comes back. Underneath it is his view of healing: "healing is not a transitive verb. It's not something you do. It's something that happens."The other questions cover a pituitary macroadenoma found on a scan taken for hearing loss in both ears, where he says an adenoma does not spread but that surgery is almost always the route; an inflamed bladder where a urine test found no bacteria, which he says is most likely the antibiotic already taken, and where he asks for a long juice cleanse; prostate cancer that has already spread, where he goes to bone; a rash on the neck, where he wants the real aloe vera plant, not a store product; two small benign liver lesions; autism and iodine; hot flashes on bioidentical hormones; and osteoporosis of the spine. Partway through, the camera and microphone fail and he sends everyone to Instagram while he restarts.
