Ep. 186: The Science of Sasquatch

from Fascinating Nouns

They are called many things:  Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yowie, The Wild Man, Skunk Apes, Yeti, Abominable Snowmen, among other things.  These creatures appear in the folklore of most indigenous people, across the world, and is strangely one of the few narrative constants that almost every tribe shares.  In our modern society however, there is almost no credence given to the topic, and very few academics study Sasquatch for fear of professional ridicule.  Luckily there is one man who is not hampered by this fear:  Dr. Jeffery Meldrum.  Listen as we discuss how he got into Sasquatch, what information we can glean from the footprints, and how hoaxing footprints is more improbable then the existence of an undiscovered human-like creature living in our secluded forests.
