Ep# 187 - Bishop Jamie Englehart

from S C H L Y C E · host Schlyce

My latest Podcast episode is a special one, as I had the privilege of being joined by my friend Bishop Jamie Englehart for a powerful conversation about his book, Myths and Mistranslations: Unpacking 70 Misconceptions About God and the Bible. Jamie is the president and founder of Connect International Ministries, a family of churches, ministries, businesses, and leaders as well as an author. He serves as a Bishop/Overseer to those in C.I.M. as well as too many other leaders across the body of Christ to mention here. He is widely sought after for his unique, multi-dimensional understanding of the kingdom of God, the New Covenant, and the heart of the Father revealed through Jesus Christ.  Jamie is married to Wendy, a recording artist and for over 29 years, they have ministered across the globe, serving as elders, church planters, bible school teachers, spiritual parents and itinerant ministers. They have two children, Brittany and Brandon, a son-in-love, Estevan, and two of the most beautiful granddaughter’s on the planet, Caydence Rocha & Ariyah Rocha. Their children traveled with them for 16 years and ministered in music all over the U.S. and abroad. They desire to see future generations empowered, affirmed, fathered, and guided into their kingdom purpose by releasing inheritance and connecting generations. In this episode, Jamie and I discuss: How to approach the bible with the freedom to study and question the things we’ve been taught The wide spread beliefs around God being in control of everything that happens on Earth The biblical misconceptions and historical biases behind the role of women in ministry and more... You can find Jamie’s resources at: http://connectinternationalministries.com If you are ready to heal past wounds and traumas and to break free from subconscious patterns of behavior, then please ask Holy Spirit to lead you to the right people and resources.  Here are some of our resources:  Rapid Mind Renewal Session - https://schlyce.kartra.com/page/rmrsessions    Christ-Centered EFT - https://schlyce.kartra.com/page/rethinkeft-cp And, if you’re ready to surrender to God’s purpose and call on your life, then schedule a free breakthrough call with us today. NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in
