Ep 187 - James Bracey - I keep my England cap in my room & not many get one

In preparation for the start of the County Championship season on April 6 our guest is young Gloucestershire and England wicket keeper batsman James Bracey who is back from playing grade cricket in Melbourne. James talks about his plans for the new season, his career at Gloucestershire CCC and his sudden selection to the to the England Test ranks in the summer of 2021 against New Zealand.   He reflects candidly on his Test Match experience against the World Test champions where he scored 0, 0 & 8 in his two matches. Whilst James admits his performance for England affected his county form in 2021 when he returned to play for Gloucestershire, he is determined to regain his place in the England set up. Last season although a disappointing one for his county, who were relegated from Division 1, was a successful one for James who was included in the PCA team of the year based on his county performances.
