This time of year is known to be the season of light, so why not shine a big ol' spotlight on one of the original seven Justice League members? As the title would suggest, the Good Brothers discuss all things Shayera Hol of Thanagar for her appearances in season one of JL. From her first appearance in "Secret Origins" all the way up through the season one finale "The Savage Time", the hosts highlight the development of what was likely the most surprising inclusion for the DCAU incarnation of the super team. Along the way, they highlight the recurring blossoming relationship between John Stewart and herself, and how the writers successfully gave dimension to a character that initially was only known for her headstrong, warrior persona. After talking about voice actress Maria Canals-Barrera a bit and the character's comic book origins, the Cal and Liam pick their favorite Hawkgirl moments from season one and take a look at the Hawkgirl merchandise produced by various companies, including her mysterious absence from Mattel's series one of action figures and why her DC Collectibles figure was so disappointing to collectors.
