I am Lisa G, a grateful recovering alcoholic I got sober on April 10th 1988. . I was 20 years old and did not know I was walking into an Alcoholic Anonymous meeting, what I found was warmth and kindness, so I stayed. Through the years I have been through death of a man I loved, death of my parents, divorce , being a single mom, ear disease, on my death bed in 2012, and brain surgery in 2017. All of that sober. Today I have 4 wonderful boys, 3 great daughters in laws , 4 wonderful grandbabies and a husband that I always wanted. I am disabled, but I love life and stay active in Alcoholics Anonymous.
