Ep. 189 - Sean Ono Lennon, Dave Mullins, Brad Booker "War is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko"

Sean Ono Lennon, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, co-wrote and executive produced an animated short film "War is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko" featuring the iconic peace anthem "Happy Xmas (War is Over)". The film has now been Oscar nominated for Best Animated Short Film. Dave Mullins is the director of the film, as well as a co-screenwriter with Ono Lennon. Brad Booker served as the film's producer. Set in an alternative WWI reality where a senseless war rages on, "War is Over!" is about two soldiers on opposing sides of the conflict who play a game of chess via carrier pigeon as the fighting escalates. Neither soldier knows his opponent as the game and the war builds to its climactic final move.
