Ep 19: 'Intoxication'

After months of garbage songs, out of nowhere, young Alex hits the steep learning curve and spits out an adequate song! A loving pastiche of AC/DC Intoxication Lyrics: VERSE It’s in my veins, it’s in my stream It’s in my system and it’s working like a dream Could chase away my conflicts quite easily But everyday I make sure to take ‘em with me CHORUS Intoxication (it’s the force that drives me) Sweeping the nation (burning deep inside me) My momma always ignore your cravings, you’ll do well But mine burns within me like the fires of hell Intoxication (it’s the force that drives me) Sweeping the nation (burning deep inside me) My papa always ignore your cravings, you’ll do well But mine burns within me like the fires of hell Ooo intoxication VERSE Can lift me up but mostly keeps me down At distribution I’m the best in town It’s an addiction but its keeps me out of troubler Could nurse one for an hour ooo make mine a double Cos when I get that feeling I can be mean or nice But just to get there, name your price Cos when I’m in the zone consequences slip away It’s just me and my mind and what I wanna say BRIDGE Everything just slips away And if I could have my way I’d be like this everyday CHORUS Intoxication (it’s the force that drives me) Sweeping the nation (burning deep inside me) My momma always ignore your cravings, you’ll do well But mine burns within me like the fires of hell Intoxication (it’s the force that drives me) Sweeping the nation (burning deep inside me) My papa always ignore your cravings, you’ll do well But mine burns within me like the fires of hell The fire’s the reason that I’m doing so well Is it such a crime to prefer to be under? Now if you don’t mind, I’ll solo while you wonder (Hit me now! Yeah!)
