Willmore Wilderness Park is one of Alberta's last true wilderness areas. It remains virtually untouched by industry and development. It features 4597 square kms of wilderness. This episode we dive into it! Terra Rasmussen joins the podcast to chat about her experiences in the Willmore. At age 9, she was able to go with her Dad into the wilderness and she tells us stories of growing up and spending her summers working with outfitters and guiding explorers into the Willmore. Terra also talks about some of her favorite hikes and some wild animal encounters. Terra is based in Grande Cache now and spends time hiking and exploring the Willmore.
