He is currently appearing on Virgin Media's Six Nations's panel and has a regular column in the Irish Times. Matt has been Director of Rugby and Head Coach of the New South Wales Waratah’s in Super Rugby, as well as with the Irish provincial teams, Leinster and Ulster in the Heineken Cup. Matt was Director Sportif at Racing Club Narbonne Mèditerranèe, in the French Pro “D” 2. He was also the Defensive coach of Ireland in 2001.
