In this episode, Joey is joined by Mike “the Sports Guru” Hurley for a summer special. They start off talking about Patrice Bergeron’s retirement and review the Bruins’ offseason. The duo contemplates whether or not David Krejci will return for another year and give their thoughts on whether or not the Bruins should trade goalie Linus Ullmark. In this segment, they dive into Don Sweeney’s incompetence in the NHL Draft and his failure to re-sign any of the three players he acquired at the 2023 Trade Deadline for two first-round picks. After that, they move onto debating who the real “LT” is: Lawrence Taylor or LaDainian Tomlinson? Joey and Mike praise each of the two Hall of Famers for changing the game of football in different ways. Following that, they discuss the diminishing running back market and provide insight into ways that running backs could flip the script. At the end, they close the episode with some fun quick-hitting questions.
