In July of 2021, Akilah Cunningham took a trip to Accra Ghana and fell in love with the country, the people, and the culture. It was there she was introduced to African fashion made out of Ankara material. After talking with her family in Ghana, she decided to create my on clothing line and that is how Keelaz Ankara Boutique was born. The clothing is hand made by a seamstress and her staff. Keelaz Ankara Boutique not only contributes to the economy in Ghana but gives 10% of all profits back to the Christ First Foster Home in Accra.
