Skull and Mask did weigh their might stone for stone in a struggle for the reins, futile for when the scales tipped, the horses would not be driven by strength alone. Hark! A destination! In shade deeper than oaks can cast, a gaol for inmate and warden alike. The Knight of Bottles would drink deep the ichorous shadows of this place. But the Knight of Scrolls, first to pierce the threshold and that revenant taboo, would spill some light from her book into that place.
