Ep 2 Why scientists can’t communicate, why we need to do it anyway and how ecofiction can help
from Ecofictology · host Lovis Geier
Hey ecofictologists, welcome to episode 2 of the Ecofictology podcast, this week is all about why we scientists find it difficult to communicate sometimes, we why need to do it anyway and how ecofiction can maybe help us with that. I come across this on a daily basis in my job as a researcher and i would love to see fiction and storytelling used more often as a tool to get our message and our passion across to people who are not necessarily in the academic community. This is an archived episode from the Ecofictology youtube channel so you can find the videos of the different parts over there. With that in mind the audio might sound a bit different because i had a different recording setup, audio production did not come naturally to me let’s put it that way. Also keep in mind that these were produced for youtube so if it feels like im talking at a hundred miles an hour....i am. Youre not wrong. Still, i hope you enjoy.
