De esas 50,000, 30,000 son asesinadas por una pareja actual o anterior. No importa que tan enojado/a, lastimado/a, avergonzado/y decepcionado/a estes, matar a alguien por un engaño no debería de ser una solución. En septiembre del 2021, Priscila de Sousa Goncalveo perdió la vida en manos de su esposo y el único testigo presente fue su amante, que al final decidió no ayudarla.
