Ep 20 - What If The Empty Nest Doesn't Have To Mean Empty Life?

from Taking Back Happy | Faith & Encouragement for Midlife Women Reclaiming Their Joy · host Gina Granville, Christian Life Coach for Women

What do you envision when you hear the term "empty nest"? A lonely woman? A forgotten mom? Someone who lacks purpose?  What if instead of dreading the empty nest years, we could look forward, celebrate, and move confidently into the next season of life? Join my friend, Donna, and I as we discuss her joy, insight and enthusiasm when it comes to empty-nesting. You just may be throwing up your arms and celebrating right along with us. Donna Craig is a 56-year old mother who looked forward to and enjoys her empty nest. She tutors conversational English to Korean women and kids. She lives in a socially busy neighborhood and is active in church. Her obsessive enjoyment of grandparenthood came as a surprise to her. She is a maker, a plant enthusiast, and a reader who runs a book club with her sister. Travel and languages are her jam. She studies three languages daily and travels as often as possible. Which isn’t enough to satisfy her wanderlust. But she tries.   Let's be friends.
