Using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), he accessed thousands of documents on topics such as UFOs, the JFK assassination, chemical and nuclear weapons, and top-secret aircraft. Over time, Greenewald's research grew into The Black Vault, the world's largest private online archive of declassified government materials, with nearly 1.5 million pages.
