Ep 207 | Giving Families the Tools to Cope
from The Marc Guzman Experience
As any parent can tell you, parenting can be very hard. Building a stable family also presents its challenges. Luckily, there are people like Cathy Botello and Misty Smith, who together help run the C.O.P.E Family Support Center. COPE is a non-profit organization that works to provide supportive services to all families in Contra Costa County, in hopes of strengthening family bonds and creating a better overall world for children. Between workshops and classes for helping new parents or combating bullying and child abuse, the people at COPE work hard every day to provide the next generation of Contra Costa County the tools to create the better world we strive for. How do they pull this off? Cathy and Misty are here to tell us.
