from The ACHARYA SHREE YOGEESH Podcast · host Acharya Shree Yogeesh

Acharya Shree Yogeesh sheds light on the need to discipline our minds and senses as they block the soul's awakening and the path to enlightenment and liberation. Every pore of the body, when the soul is awakened, can taste, hear, see, smell, touch; however, the clouds of karmic keep one from experience such high levels of consciousness. Acharya Shree also discusses that it is possible to get enlightened in this current life, though one must go through the difficult process of inviting karma so it can be burned. It's not necessary the body one has has the power and strength to burn a lot of karma. He discourages hurting your body in attempting to grow spirituality as it may make your body weak or make the mind go crazy. Guidance is especially important on this journey.
