Ep 21: Migration Matters
from J.O.T. POD · host Lamar A Smith Jr
The season two opener features Joella Roberts. And I highly encourage you listen to this one. Joella is University of District of Colombia alum and co=founder of Migration Matters. The first organization to center undocumented immigrants at an HBCU. We talked about diversity on college campuses, the unjust treatment of undocumented immigrants in America, outdated education principles and much more. Afterwards we ended the episode with Joella telling me the five activists she'd invite to dinner in "Welcome to the Dinner Table".
