Ep. 215 - Nikki Crawford "Fat Ham"

Nikki Crawford is a Tony-nominated actress who is now performing at the Geffen Playhouse Los Angeles through May 11 in the show FAT HAM, a modern, Pulitizer Prize-winning take on Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The show came direct from Broadway, where Nikki earned her first Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play. FAT HAM is about Juicy, a young, queer Black man whose dead father’s ghost shows up at his family’s BBQ wedding reception demanding his murder be avenged. Juicy then faces the dilemma of whether he should do the deed, or be true to his principles and who he is.
