Former U.S. Secretaries of Education, presidents of HBCUs, teachers, students and parents, have pushed for a more divorce teaching force; particularly noting the need for Black male teachers. Black men are only 2% of the teaching profession while 15.7% of public school students in America are Black. Euguene Muhammad, Jamil Muhammad, and Mikal Muhammad are three young teachers committed to making a difference in the lives of children. They will share their journey in the field of education and provide insight about best practices for interested in pursuing a career as an educator.
