Ep. 22 - "Beautiful Son" - A Visitation Dream from My Father

Beautiful Son. This message was embroidered across the front of a black-and-white baseball cap with bold, white, cursive letters. In this visitation dream, the hat was presented to me on the day of my father's funeral. So, here was the final message my father wanted to leave for me.Thomas here. My father died a few years ago. Whenever a significant person in my life leaves this world, there is always a deeply personal moment of connection between my spirit and theirs: a visitation dream or a unique and touching sign from them - or both. My father's case was a little different. I received a kind sign from him shortly after his passing, but never heard anything more.Then again, we hadn't had the best relationship. He did things when I was small that no child should have to experience. Then in my teenage years he showed me a negative example of alcohol abuse and failure to thrive. However, the one thing he never left in doubt was that he loved me. He said it often.I'm not much of a baseball cap guy, so wearing the hat in the dream feels at once awkward and extremely thoughtful, but it is when we arrive at the image of three suns setting in the same sky that the power of this visitation from my father came crashing over me.You, too, are probably being visited by departed loved ones.
