So since metal music is kind of our thing, we felt it only fitting to put a couple metal heavyweights toe to toe and see which is a better pour. Metallica's Blackend is an American Straight Whiskey Finished in black brandy casks. And the challenger for this bout is from the state of Iowa, SlipKnot's #9 Reserve, a bold-flavored blend of 3–4 yr. old straight rye and straight bourbon.
