Ep. 22 - Owen Stroud

Owen Stroud is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and organist based in New Braunfels, Texas. His music is influenced by a rich blend of honky-tonk, Western swing, regional folk, classical, jazz, and hymnal traditions. Raised in the northwest suburbs of Austin, Owen spent several years after college living in different places, including Nashville, before returning to the region in 2020.Owen is a versatile performer who writes, produces, and arranges his own music. When he’s not performing on stage, he enjoys hiking in the Hill Country, crafting new songs, or reading books about local geography.In addition to singing and songwriting, he is an accomplished pianist and keyboardist, providing session work on piano and B-3 organ from his home studio in New Braunfels.
