Ep. 22 - Ryan Figert

Happy World Cup Final Weekend everybody. This week we're joined by Ryan Figert, who has gone from growing up playing soccer in Dallas, Texas, to running social media accounts for FC Dallas in MLS. Ryan's Desert Island Goals feature historic moments for both the USMNT and the USWNT, and we get a little chat about "Reyna-Gate," and how the US can build from their impressive performance in Qatar. Ryan's a huge Arsenal fan, and we hypothesise as to why the GUNners might be so popular with residents of the Lone Star State. Our Arsenal discussion includes an all-time last minute winner at the Emirates - that unfortunately didn't lead to the realisation of Ryan's dreams coming true - but Ryan thinks better times are coming (soon) for Arsenal. We even have a sprinkling of NCAA Soccer from Ryan's career as a College Soccer Broadcaster. We hope you enjoy! As always, please follow us on our various social media accounts, and help us spread the word about the podcast by sharing with your friends!
