We are in an interesting season of the church. The pandemic has sped up the decline of religious communities across the western European North American landscape. Perhaps this is a good thing. What we might want to do is to work out the problem and try to go back to where we came from but perhaps we are in a season of pruning and instead we are called to wait for the movement of the divine to show us what is next.
