Alexandra has a background in marketing, data and international development. She helped build Cambridge Analytica, one of the leading data analytics and marketing agencies in the world, from 20 to 100 people in less than 3 years. She started her career in the non profit sector, with a mission to help build peace in and between communities and cultures. Alexandra was working with civil society engagement in Tunisia after the Arab spring, focusing on building efficient communication channels to support the post-revolution transition. Alexandra has also worked in the development sector with and for organisations like Chatham House, British Council and Hand in Hand International. During her time at Hand in Hand International, Alexandra became the ghost writer of the best-selling memoirs of Percy Barnevik, founder and chairman, previously CEO, Chairman and board member of ABB, AstraZenica and General Motors. She shares HiH’s vision to fight poverty through job and business creation. Alexandra has a Bachelor in International Relations and a Masters degree in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London. She wrote her Master thesis on the topic of frame alignment and mobilisation strategies in social movements.
