Ep 23: A Prepared Life - Unapologetically You

Send us Fan MailThis is the first episode in our new series called "A Prepared Life".  It is all about taking the preparedness community out of the fear bunker and towards an incredible and amazing life.We live in a chaotic and disrupted world - full of expectations, norms, cultures and family rules that govern how we conduct our lives.  The number one question for preparedness is: Who is responsible for your outcomes?.  The answer is you, so why are you not living the most amazing life, pursuing your dreams and path - which likely tangent from family expectations and norms.  Avoid falling into the "keeping up with the Jones" in the preparedness community - comparing your preps with others, YouTube channels or other podcasts.  Once you do that you are doomed.  Make a plan for you and just for you, execute it and then go live the incredible life you want knowing you are wrapped in a blanket of preparedness.  Don't build a bunker, preparing for a future significant event and allowing that to govern your life.  The only thing at the end of that road is significant mental illness and suffering.  Be unapologetically you - understand that people's decision to like or not like you is up to them and is out of your control.  Frankly, you shouldn't care what others think of your life choices - not your parents, family or friends.  Be you, charge into life.  Get a t it!Support the showhttps://preparednesslabs.ca/
