Ep. 23: First Reformed

Join us in watching and discussing Paul Schrader's 2018 character study of a lonely alcoholic pastor played wonderfully by Ethan Hawke. What does it take to push a sad man with nothing going on in his life into radicalization? A little attention from Amanda Seyfried and being the first on the scene to a tragedy might do it for our friend Reverend Toller... Come for the dark, introspective, academy award-nominated screenplay and stay for the Cedric the Entertainer Mega-church leading persona. Hope you enjoy this one off of Dan's five faves!
