By 2014 The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was in control of a good chunk of both Syria and Iraq. All of a sudden it was all anyone was talking about in the Western World. It got personal when a video titled "A Message to America" was uploaded to YouTube that showed the beheading of an American Journalist named James Foley. Americans were angry, President Obama ordered airstrikes and there was even talk of the deployment of the US Military. But where did they come from? And why were they so bloodthirsty? The story of ISIS is a complicated one, but it is also important. So join us this week as we go over the sad story of one of the most despicable terrorist groups in history.
