Lucio Muniain estudió Arquitectura y Urbanismo en la Universidad Iberoamericana y en Parsons Nueva York, con una maestría en Desarrollo Urbano por la Universidad Iberoamericana. Práctica independiente en LUCIO MUNIAIN et al desde 1998. Entre sus proyectos más destacados están el Corporativo Autofin, Proyecto Bahía Balandra, en La Paz, Baja California Sur, la remodelación de la Plaza de la Constitución en la CDMX y ganó el concurso para la remodelación y ampliación del aeropuerto de Guadalajara con Bosco Arquitectos y Andrés Casillas. Desde temprana edad Lucio tuvo contacto cercano con las artes, practicó la pintura e incursionó en la música. Como pintor Lucio ha expuesto su trabajo desde 1974 en galerías y museos nacionales e internacionales. Hoy es representado por la Galería Licenciado. Dentro de la música es contrabajista en la banda “Another” con Jair Laiter y Manuel Morán con quienes ha grabado 3 álbumes.
