If you become a devotee then even if you fall down due to any unforeseen event, you will be born a devotee again and again. Once a bhakta always a bhakta says Narada to Vedvyas. Narada gives an understanding to Vedvyas why it is important to follow the path of devotion and make others too get immersed in it. Vedvyas should write on devotional stories of God and try to instill devotion in others since he is Himself the perfect proponent of Bhakti Marg.
