Ep. 230 - Shogun

This week on Comics and Chronic the boys are doing a half baked episode as Cody & Jake discuss FX's samurai show on Shogun. Since it’s pride month is Cody the Gay Lord of the podcast? A high praise. Is Shogun going to be the best show of the year? Is Mariko Sama hot as fuck! Did this show make Cody watch more Asian porn? Is the main white character a knock off Tom Hardy? Since the show is in Japanese can you afford to not pay attention? Should we be drinking Sake for this episode? Is there a butt load of suicide in this show? Has Cody chosen Jake to second him after he commits Seppuku? Would Cody have survived feudal Japan? Has the show been renewed already? Is Scorpion from the new Mortal Kombat one of the main characters? Does the show have similarities as far as political intrigue of Game Of Thrones? Does Martin Scorsese’s film Silence have a lot in common with Shogun? Is the Catholic Church the true enemy of the show? Does Anthony’s character in the show kill himself? Is the show brutal AF? Was the costume design incredible? Is the CGI heavy or action filled? Does this show make us want to learn Japanese? Could Betty Yayo beat Shogun? Were the opening credits sick? Did Atticus Ross do the music for Shogun? Is Junkie XL underrated? Should we do a Funny Games episode? Was this a beautiful show? Who portrayed feudal Japan better, Shogun or Ninja Turtles three? Tune in this week to hear the answers to these philosophical questions.
