EP 232: Navigating Setbacks: When Just Keep Moving Doesn't Work

Welcome to today's episode of Jumpstart with Jeff, where Dr. Jeff Buske, founder of Limitless Dentists, shares his insights on creating power, productivity, and profitability in dental practices. In today's episode, Dr. Buske emphasizes the importance of continuous progress, but with a crucial caveat: movement must be purposeful and directed towards meaningful goals. Reflecting on a challenging day at his practice, he discusses two contrasting patient cases that illustrate this principle. In the first, persistence paid off as he successfully resolved an issue with a patient's occlusal guard. In the second, however, a different approach was required when persistence proved unproductive. Dr. Buske highlights the need for flexibility and reassessment when strategies aren't working, stressing that usefulness and effectiveness are more important than mere activity. He also underscores the importance of consistency in achieving long-term success, drawing parallels to steady, sustained efforts in marketing and personal growth. "Is what you're doing useful? If yes, keep going. If not, course correct."
