After leaving school and working as a baggage handler, Fin decided to join the NZ Army more specifically the armoured corps. After complete basic, and specific training he was posted to Queen Alexandra’s Mounted Rifles. In 2012 Fin deployed to Afghanistan to the Bamiyan province in which 2012 tuned out to be the deadliest year for the NZ military and more specifically on this deployment 5 NZ soldiers were killed in action.After swiftly leaving the military Fin moved back to Perth and got into the fitness industry.
