Ep: 235 – NAVY PADDLES with Kyle and Melinda Nyseth

from The Decision Hour · host Heroes Media Group

Had a great time talking with Kyle and Melinda Nyseth the founders of Navy Paddles (https://www.navypaddles.com)  Navy Paddles provides unique and customized handmade memorabilia wooden products to military, fire and police to serve as a way of "Honoring their Achievements and Remembering Milestones". It is truly a "Craft of Honor" that allows Nyseth to stay connected to the military community that was his family for so long and to continue to serve others that are sacrificing so much.   Take a listen as to how it all got started!   Navy Paddles is the largest customized paddle company in North America and has branched out to providing several unique custom memorabilia items. They create high quality items such as a variety of paddle designs, shadow boxes, knife plaques, and wrapped hatchets, baseball bats, wooden hockey sticks, the War Hammer and more. They also sell coins, 550 paracord, SOG knives and Ka-Bar knives. Navy Paddles works closely with nearly 100 foundations and nonprofit organizations that also give back to the military community. These unique items are used as silent auction pieces and table centerpieces for Foundations to raise money at events each year. These items have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for military supporting foundations such as The Navy SEAL Foundation, Marine Raider Foundation, SEAL Family Foundation, The Brian Bill Foundation, Naked Warrior Foundation, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance and the Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation, to name a few. Navy paddles have also provided paddles and awards for the Extreme Race Community such as The Bone Frog Challenge, Spartan Race, The Boston 5K, Ryan Owens Memorial Run, and the IronMan SUPERFROG.
