Ep. 24- Anarie's Story

Becky and Tiffany sit down with Anarie to share her story.  Anarie shares how her relationship with God has been strengthened during her journey through betrayal trauma and divorce. She talks about how she internalized the shame and damaging beliefs that are common with women who have been betrayed. Anarie shares that when her husband's years-long pornography use fully came to light and they eventually divorced, she was angry with God for allowing this to happen. However, Anarie shares that through various forms of therapy, the Heart of a Woman retreat, and connections with other women, she is growing in her relationship with the Lord. She knows she is important to and accepted by God. She reminds us that we can always turn to God, for He can hold our pain and anger.
