Ep 24. Hijab is a journey but let's be honest.

Asalamualykum friends! we are excited to bring you this week's episode; which is focused on the topic of Hijab. We backpacked on the last episode starting with the struggles of maintaining the concealment of our beauty by keeping the hijab on during our weddings. In being honest, we acknowledge that Hijab can be a sensitive topic for many but we aimed to be brutally honest in this discussion about the struggles of hijab and the need to strive to observe this practise in the correct way. Our conversation emphasizes the influence social media and liberal ideologies have on muslim women and how we wear our hijab. We end the discussion on providing some words of encouragement for those who are on the path of attaining true modesty and those contemplating starting their journey- May Allah make it easy for us all. xo
