Indians across the world will be celebrating a very special festival this week- Deepawali or Diwali- the festival of lights. I love everything about this festival- the rangoli that we put outside our homes, decorating the house with marigold flowers and lights, eating lots and lots of traditional sweets- yum! Diwali also marks the beginning of winter in the country. To everyone celebrating, Happy Diwali! Yogena chittasya padena vachaam malam sharirasyacha vaidyakenaam. Yopaa karottam pravaram muninaam.
