Growing up the son of a prominent rock guitarist, we chart Shan’s early experiences discovering hip hop in Melbourne, moving to Brisbane and then establishing himself in his current home, Sydney, We speak on DJ culture, the importance of “selection”, working in radio over numerous decades, the influence of DJ’s Katch, Blaze and Ransom as well as starting and continuing to host one of Australia’s first podcasts ever.
